Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

Grandma Light's Peonies- One summer Ms. Simon's Grandmother Light had given her many peony bulbs, she noted that they were over 50 years old. Linda dug a trench down the side of her driveway (which the neighbors would tease.."was a oil pipeline to Alaska!) and planted the bulbs. Over time the bulbs would bloom into a glorious sweet smelling show. People would tell her they would always take a annual stroll every year by just to see the site! Linda also enjoyed the view and aroma from her studio. So one day she went and picked a bunch and painted them so they could be enjoyed year round! Copyright- All Rights Reserved
Art played a big role for Ms. Simon very early on in her life. Linda made use to all that was offered in High School, she took Mechanical drawing, a two year trade school commercial art program, and almost triple majored in Art. Her artist influences include Norman Rockwell, Edgar Degas, Renoir and Nicolas Poussin's "Adoration of the Shepherds". Linda has quality, Contemporary Fine Art based on the enduring aesthetic principles of the old masters, using faces of her family, pets, and dear friends holding hints of Linda's life. Ms. Simon works predominately in non-traditional oils(non-toxic), incorporating pure pigments in her glazing, she also is accomplished in paper maché, clay, charcoal, color pencil, scratch board, pastels, ceramics,...
