A group of joyful children are at a gathering of celebration for the Fall harvest. At this social gathering they are dressed up in enchanting costumes of the renaissance. The girls masquerade as a queen and princess, the boys ensemble a king and prince. The royal children squeal with delight as they dance on the floor of the old barn, all the while pretending they are doing the waltz in the ballroom of a mid-evil castle. The remembrance is decked out with little white lights, candles, big bales of hay and a feast garnished with food fit for a king. Like gold, the sun pours through the cracks of the old building. The only audience, observing with amusement, is the endangered curly ewe. Oh how Ms. Simon wishes she were young again!

Art played a big role for Ms. Simon very early on in her life. Linda made use to all that was offered in High School, she took Mechanical drawing, a two year trade school commercial art program, and almost triple majored in Art. Her artist influences include Norman Rockwell, Edgar Degas, Renoir and Nicolas Poussin's "Adoration of the Shepherds". Linda has quality, Contemporary Fine Art based on the enduring aesthetic principles of the old masters, using faces of her family, pets, and dear friends holding hints of Linda's life. Ms. Simon works predominately in non-traditional oils(non-toxic), incorporating pure pigments in her glazing, she also is accomplished in paper maché, clay, charcoal, color pencil, scratch board, pastels, ceramics,...
