"Timeless" is a very calm, soothing painting, this everyday scene is like you are standing still in time. Ms. Simon's Mother favors and claims this oil painting is on top of her favorites list, maybe thats because she grew up on a farm and it does flood her with wonderful memories of her childhood. The theme through all of the artist's work is to make you have a very happy, pleasant, and warm experience. The greens and golden colors make this mood for Timeless. Sometimes the most mundane scenes we live everyday are the most comforting and beautiful, we just need to look with a fresh pair of eyes. So take a moment and look once more because you could get caught in Timeless!

Linda, I really appreciate the warm glow throughout the composition. I suppose that we all can identify with a shed, barn or garden building like this where someone worked the earth. It's not only "Timeless" but universal as well. voted
